From Kindergarden to sophomore year of high school I had really long hair. When I was younger I wore my hair down. But that changed as I grew tired of it getting caught in the seat. The chairs were made of plastic and had two round metal circles that attached the plastic to the metal legs. My hair would get wrapped around those metal buttons. When it was stuck, I just had to grit my teeth and bare the pain of yanking out my hair.
Eventually, I changed my style to a bun or a braid. Sometimes I wore a low ponytail. This was also to get my hair out of my face and to lessen the chances of it getting caught on the chair.
I hated those plastic chairs with those metal buttons. It always seemed to win in the end.

Our Throwback Thursday this week is Lamb Chop’s Play-Along! Share if you were a fan of Shari Lewis and this PBS program!
It’s another classic show with an unforgettable song:
“This is the song that doesn’t end.
Yes, it goes on and on my friend.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they’ll continue singing it forever just because…”
